Blyth's Hawk Eagle

Blyth's Hawk Eagle

Hi All,

For BOP enthusiast, I would like to share some photo (belong to a friend from neighbour country...Blyth's Hawk Eagle is impressive... but In Malaysia it is totally protected... The nearest niece of this species is Mountain Hawk Eagle which can be kept (they are similiar in size)...

Catching a snake... The owner mention that the snake is actually manage to grab the eagle neck, but seem like it make no harm to the eagle..

The top pic is a female mountain hawk eagle. Mountain hawk eagle is much larger than blyth's hawk eagle. My f mountain he will reach nearly 2.5ky fully fat while blyth's will only reach 1100g.

Well I'm thinking myself that the bird is not a Blyth's, but your MHE I saw in IFF. I can recognize it and I know that Blyth's is totally different. They are rare too, like MHE.

Now my curiosity has ended and I was right, it is a MHE not a Blyth's.
