Hi,

I have this Hwamei that is with me for many many months but everytimes he see me will "song tao" and "kakaki".

Can someone advise me how to manage it and boast his confidence level up to start playing?

Hi bukaqueen,

Normally if hwa mei "song tao" and "kakaki" when the bird see you, it show the hwa mei afraid of you.
One of the reason , hwa mei rear from baby or juvenille.
The other reason, you catch the bird before.
If you want booast the confidence up, try rear a female hwa mei, it really works.

Hi frankieshama,

Never catch the bird before with my both hand. if it is rear from juvenile,
normally how long does i need to keep the female one? should i let them see each other or cover them with cloth?
