Colony Breeding For Java Sparrow.

Postby Irwan Fahmy » Tue Jul 15, 2008 11:43 am

I've taken into consideration on continuing my Java Sparrow breeding. Now I'm adding new bloods into the flocks coz the previous birds is not so productive anymore. Now, they starts to breed and so happy to see them multiply once again. :D

My New Chicks

Postby Irwan Fahmy » Sat Feb 14, 2009 7:15 am

Here are some images of my new chicks.. This time it is special to me coz this is the 1st time the white phase female crossbreed with my male opal (silver).. Before only the normal coloured (wild caught) breeds but after waiting for nearly 4 years I managed to breed the mutation ones.. 2 nests this time and 1 nest have 4 and the other 1 got 5 chicks.. Luckily all survive and Java are really a good parents.. Now 3 of them are already out of the nest while the others still been fed by their parents.. The colouration of the chick is still immature plumage.. Pure white body with a little silver at the upper back.. Dont know what they will look like on adult plumage..
