Hi finch,
Iam not an expert on TIEL rearing, just started last year April.
I own an pair of tiel with light brown color feathers, white strip on wings and Yellow feather head. two success batch hatch with 1st batch, eldest daughter features same as parent color and an lutino tiel. The second batch has 2 features same as parent and two lutino. Of course if parents is on same species of color , the percentage of baby tiel/s of having the same feature/color is high but its all depends on gen ( unknown generation color ).
Currently my new pair bread with one hatches and it feathers is dark brown. Can't elaborates much of this baby tiel, just have to wait till he/she comes out from the nestbox. Will up load it when available. The female tiel ( from first pair ) paired with male tiel has yellow feather on head and pearl scale on its wings. still comes out an different color. haaa... can't comments muck liow..
So all the best of your choice and good luck. Thanks
Happy Rearing
cstan

Hello everyone,

I'm new member, living in Thailand. I need supplies to build my own aviary here. There are no 16 gauge welded wire, J clips and tools to use. Can anyone help me find at least galvanized 1/2" X 1" welded wire in Malaysia? Or any country around here? I appreciate any leads. Even willing to travel to Malaysia to bring the materials with me, if I have to.
Regards,

Hothat_man

Hello Finch,

when you said 'best result"... keen to elaborate to us what is the goal? are you looking for the colour mutation? or 'more productive' pair?
Best Regards,
Tanin
