PERHILITAN will impose new law about Lovebirds

A lovebird is one of nine species of the genus Agapornis (Greek: αγάπη agape 'love'; όρνις ornis 'bird'). They are a social and affectionate small parrot. Eight species are native to the African continent, and the grey-headed lovebird is native to Madagascar. Their name comes from the parrots' strong, monogamous pair bonding and the long periods which paired birds spend sitting together.

Can anyone update on the new law?

I have looked up on the Akta 716 - Akta Pemuliharan Hidupan Liar 2010, page 89, it stated that all Agapornis require license (indicated as 'Agapornis spp.'), EXCEPT for Agapornis Roseicollis or Rosy-Faced or Peach-Faced Lovebirds.

I wish to apply license for my Fischer's Lovebirds but one of the requirement is the owner must produce invoice/bill where you bought them from, I am unable to produce this because I bought them from a local breeder from Kelantan, and he didn't provide any documents nor did I ask for them.

Anyone can shade lights on this subject? Tq.
