How to feed Medium Sulfur with Calcium Source

A cockatoo is a parrot that is any of the 21 species belonging to the bird family Cacatuidae, the only family in the superfamily Cacatuoidea. Along with the Psittacoidea (true parrots) and the Strigopoidea (large New Zealand parrots), they make up the order Psittaciformes (parrots). The family has a mainly Australasian distribution, ranging from the Philippines and the eastern Indonesian islands of Wallacea to New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Australia.

Postby kelisa_RTG » Mon Feb 18, 2013 2:18 am

Hi bro n sis,
Appreciate if you guys can share on the above subject. My Sulfur is about 2years++, tame, however he alwiz void the calcium source I provided to him i.e chicken bone, cuttle bone, mineral block. I'm not sure his previous main diet because i bought him from petshop, hence i assume the main diet is "Sunflower Seeds"

I'm worry sooner or later he will lacking of calcium and got unnecessary illness. :(

Recently i bought Egg-food and seems he ate it but with a small amount.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Feed it with 3-4 raw almonds a day. A good source of natural calcium amongst other things. Never seen a parrot that does not like almonds.
